languages Thomas speaks

Thomas is a great teacher, a good listener, and a really wise person. Something that I find helpful from him is that he can help you with tips for different contexts, well, at least for me, because sometimes I read something in an English book, but I need more examples, either for a casual conversation or for a business environment, and Thomas has helped with that. I highly recommend him!

As a person who has learned many languages of my own, I am determined to help others find their confidence in speaking English. I have been teaching English for just over two years, and I have fallen in love with it. Watching students make progress brings me an unbeatable joy.

I originally became interested in teaching English a few years ago while studying French. During my studies, I watched lots of movies and YouTube videos for practice, and I loved how 'easy' it was to learn through immersion. That is why this website was created using the very same methods I used to teach myself Spanish, French, and now Portuguese. Every day, I read a short story, watch a TV show, movie, or YouTube video, or I listen to music in all of my target languages. That's it! I only rely on daily immersion and occasionally testing my knowledge.

The number one thing to remember? Don't be nervous. Children learn languages quickly not because they’re better at it, but because they’re not afraid to try. So go ahead. Try a lesson. Make mistakes. Learn from them and try again. You'll thank yourself later.
