Traveling Abroad

My name is Clara, and last summer I traveled to Italy. I’ll never forget my first trip abroad. I was excited but also nervous, because it was my first time flying on an airplane.

The flight was long but comfortable. When I arrived in Rome, I was amazed by the history everywhere. Old buildings stood next to modern shops, and every street seemed full of life.

I visited the Colosseum, ate pizza in a small restaurant, and walked through busy markets. Sometimes, I felt lost, but people were kind and helped me with directions.

Traveling abroad taught me to be brave and open. I realized the world is bigger than my hometown, and I want to keep exploring it.
